As planned the hubby and I went for a nice 6 mile hike on Saturday. We chose to hike the Ruby Jack trail. Hiked a total of about 6 miles. It was a lovely day for a hike. The moist slightly snow covered ground added a bit of a challenge which we really enjoyed.
Of course the battery on the camera was dead and I was unable to get a snowy picture of the Ruby Jack trail. The picture above was taken on the trail during the summer.
After the hike we relaxed by walking calmly through a local flea market. Then really unwound with a meal of chips, salsa, hot sauce, chicken fajita's and a strawberry margaretta for Nana :)
Fun little tidbit: hot sauce boosts the metabolism just a tiny bit.
